This blend of herbs was made to support your kidneys, bladder, and overall urinary tract and it can serve you as an extra aid to fight UTIs with its diuretic, cleansing and antibacterial properties, with special affinity to the urinary tract. I chose these herbs they are herbs that will tighten, astringe and tone the hot inflamed tissues, demulcent and will soften and lubricate and cool down, that are antimicrobial herbs to help if there is any sign of infection. During urination, as it passes out of the body it acts on the mucus membranes of the urinary tract to soothe irritation, reduce inflammation, and fight infection.
🌿Goldenrod- A vulnerary herb, well-suited to healing both internal and external wounds (eg. ulcers). It is an excellent diuretic often used for UTIs, kidney stones, and to steady menstruation. Goldenrod is also carminative and will soothe the stomach and help subdue nausea. It’s also wonderful for seasonal colds and allergies.
